Scot is co-owner of King Energy and has been designing and engineering thousands of home and commercial geothermal systems, including his own.
Scot is a wealth of knowledge from understanding the best systems for new construction to retro-fitting existing homes with a geothermal system. Scot meets with every single client to fully understand the needs, wishes and desires you may have and balances that with what your home can comfortably handle.
Scot is there for you every step of the way, from designing and installing the best geothermal system to warranties, rebates and navigating the tax credits and financing opportunities.
Scot has an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Maine-Orono.

Bob is owner of King Energy.
He has extensive knowledge of installations of ground source heat pump systems.
Bob has been in charge of ground source heat pump installations since 2003. He began as a partner with Rick King, Founder of King Energy in 2002, learning the ropes and "ins-and-outs" of heat pumps all across the state of Connecticut.
Bob will be your primary contact once your contract is signed with King Energy. Bob directs King Energy crews in all aspects of the installation process. From duct work placement to heat pump hook-ups, Bob is there every step of the way.
Bob is also in charge of all service calls and can help navigate issues that may arise.

Val is the Director of Marketing and Customer Relations for King Energy. She may be your first point of contact on your journey of discovering your underground heating and cooling system.
Val has a background in administration, communications, marketing and understanding the importance of building strong customer relationship experiences. It's important to her that you have the right information to make the best decision on how to address the comfort of your home.
Val has a bachelors in Communication Sciences and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Connecticut.

King Energy installed a 3-ton heat pump into her 2000 sqf ranch house removing her aging oil furnace and broken air conditioner unit. Even though the house had existing duct work, Scot (and from the Energy Audit) confirmed it was undeniably leaky and would be expensive to fix. Scot explained that the geothermal system would not perform efficiently.
